AI Usage Report for Enhancing Typhoon Risk Assessment and Insurance Mechanisms in China

 

AI was employed in two key areas during the research process: code debugging and literature review.

 

Code Debugging: ChatGPT was used to troubleshoot and debug code during the development of the risk assessment model. It helped identify errors, suggest optimizations, and refine the implementation, ensuring that the model ran efficiently and accurately.

Literature Review: ChatGPT, DeepSeek and Kimi assisted in finding relevant academic papers related to disaster risk modeling and insurance mechanisms. By analyzing available papers, it contributed to enriching the theoretical foundation of the research, supporting the development of the risk assessment model.

Organizing Language: ChatGPT was used to help structure and refine the language of the final report. It suggested improvements for clarity, flow, and conciseness, ensuring that complex ideas were presented in a logical and readable manner. This contributed to the overall quality and coherence of the document.
